You will need: • Pine cones. • Brown and tan felt. • Wobbly eyes. • Small branched twigs. • A hot glue gun & glue. • Scissors. • Ribbon. • Medium sized pompoms. (A hot glue gun can burn so an adult will need to use this)
First cut your brown felt into (teardrop) ear shapes, then cut your tan felt into smaller teardrops to fit inside the ear leaving a clear border and oval shapes bigger than the wobbly eyes to highlight the eye area.
Next hot glue (or use a strong craft glue) the eyes to the ovals and tan teardrop to the brown teardrop as shown above.
Now glue your eyes and ears to the cone. Then carefully hot glue your twig antlers to the back of the cone, you will have to have about a two inch length in contact with the cone and glue to keep them stable.
Glue on your pompom noses at the bottom. Loop a length of ribbon and tie or hot glue to the top for hanging your decoration.
