You will need: • Felt in various colours. • Scissors. • Pine cones. • Wobbly eyes. • Feathers. • Ribbon. • Strong craft glue or hot glue gun. • Brown or yellow paper for beak. • Red pen or pencil.
Start by cutting your felt into the shapes shown below. Cut a diamond shape (a third of the width of your owl face) out of the paper. Fold the diamond in half and colour the inside red.

Glue the owl faces together with craft glue – or a hot glue gun as long as an adult is using the gun.

Allow the owl faces to dry. Let your little one place the feathers, face and felt feathers then you can glue them or let them if they’re able.

You can put the felt feathers on the chest of the owl and use the feathers as wings.

Tie the ribbon to they tops or glue with a hot glue gun and your pine cone owls are ready to tie on your tree! You can also try adding a tail feather, glitter or gems to your owls to glam them up.
