Campervan & Camping Adventures!!

We are now proud owners of a Volkswagen T4 Camper van complete with three quarters rock and roll bed, storage and Dometic hob and sink unit. We are still busy getting it in shape for camping with the kids so we can explore the UK as a family once Covid-19 is under control. It's a great project to keep us busy during this pandemic and a steep learning curve too!

We also love to camp so have a few tents for different types of camping. We use our canvas bell tent for long camping sessions whenever we can because it has much more space and although it is heavy it's pretty easy to put up with just one central pole, bedroom insert and guy ropes.

For wild camping as a family we use the bell tent unless we have to walk a fair distance then we have a small 4 man tent and a one man for our kit if we are staying a while.

We use solar and power-banks to charge tech and various off the ground stoves for cooking depending on how light we are travelling. While we camp we practise our outdoor skills such as finding tinder, foraging, fire lighting, bushcraft and other activities.
