You will need: • Cardboard. • A pencil. • Paints. • A black pen. • 25 cotton wool balls. • A hole punch, pipe cleaner or length of ribbon.
Draw a Santa face with a hat and moustache but without a beard. Using the cotton wool ball as a guide draw circles for the numbers of days before Christmas on Santa’s beard. A rough guide is 9 circles on the first line closest the face, 7 on the next line, 6 on the third line and 3 on the last line.
Write the numbers in the circles 1 to 25. Paint your Santa and let him dry before adding details with a black pen. Every day starting the 1st of December your little one can glue a cotton wool ball over the date and on the 25th of December Santa will have a full cotton wool beard.
You can attach the pipe cleaner to Santa’s hat for hanging on the wall.
